Paseo por el Río Paraná, desde el Puerto de la Ciudad de Santa Fe hasta la Ciudad de Paraná, provincia de Entre Rios. El Paraná es un río de América del Sur que atraviesa la mitad sur del continente y forma parte de la extensa cuenca combinada del Plata. Esta cuenca recoge las aguas de la mayoría de los ríos del sur del continente, como el Paraná, el Paraguay, el Uruguay, sus afluentes y diversos humedales, como el Pantanal, los Esteros del Iberá y el Bañado la Estrella . Es la segunda cuenca más extensa de Sudamérica, sólo superada por la del río Amazonas. La unión de los ríos Paraná y Uruguay forman el estuario denominado Río de la Plata, donde el Paraná desemboca en un delta en constante crecimiento, producto de los sedimentos que aportan, principalmente, los ríos Paraguay y Bermejo. Paraná es el apócope de la expresión para rehe onáva que en idioma tupi significa 'pariente del mar' o 'agua que se mezcla con el mar'.

Traveling through Canada and the USA over four months. Starting in Toronto then over to Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Vancouver etc on the VIA Rail and then down the west cost to Los Angeles to start a Trek America tour for 64 days the Trail Blazer. This past week I was in Toronto, Barrie, Orillia, Gravenhurst and the surrounding area. Taking pictures and videos of various things and combining it in to videos each week.

Marcus Sorensen recites the poem "Tilicho Lake" by David Whyte in front of that same lake at 4910m altitude in Nepal. It is the world's highest lake, and frozen over for most of the year. It took 8 days' trekking to reach it with local sherpas. It is vast, at over 4km in length, and described by adventurer Maurice Herzog as "The Great Ice Lake", when he passed it on his way to do the first 8000m+ mountain climb in history at the nearby Annapurna Peak. Marcus was inspired to visit it to "see the true shape of [his] own face". With gratitude to Daphne Bouma-Jansen for the idea.
